i'm getting married in the morning

I shot my first Faroese wedding yesterday. Elisabeth and Hans Albert had gotten engaged during a trip to Paris and were tying the knot in a brand new Lutheran Church. Wedding ceremony's here are similar to those in the States, but the reception is an entirely different creature. It started at 7 p.m. and when I left at 2:30 a.m. the dancing was just getting going and the cake had yet to be cut. Now that is a party.
